To God be the glory, great things He hath done

Meet my lovely new neice, Amiya Leeanne Gray.
Amiya was born at 6:06am on Monday, January 3, 2010. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 19 inches long.  The above photo was taken on January 12.  Isn't she beautiful? :)
When she was born, there was a knot in her umbilical cord.  We also later found out there was infection in the placenta.
She had a seizure when she was just a few hours old, and was transported to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
They ran tests, put her on anti-seizure medication, the whole 9 yards.
On Friday, January 8, she was in a coma.  She was declared brain dead.  My brother and sister-in-law made the impossible decision to take her off life support, and let her go Home to be with the Lord.

On Sunday morning, she woke up.  Her reflexes are improved, she's drinking from a bottle.  Her brain activity still isn't what it should be, but praise God, she's ALIVE.
My ladies group (Love you gals!) and I prayed for a miracle, and God gave us one.
We're continuing to pray for an even bigger miracle - a complete recovery for this beautiful little one.

Genesis 18:14a - Is any thing too hard for the LORD?

Jeremiah 32:27 - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Mark 10:27b - With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Luke 1:37 - For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Luke 18:27 - And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
